Betfair Liquidity

Does any one have a view on how much is needed in a market to make it a valid betting market. Some racing events can have as little as a few hundred up to a few thousand.

Wonder if there is a rule of thumb amount that should be in a market before backing or laying.

I like to see min 20k.
but it really depends on your stake

also for me it needs to be < 105%

Depends. There is no right answer.

I can make money in a 15% market and a 99% market. It all depends on your strategy.
