Did anyone back She's All Gold. I had a small each-way bet and it paid $6.90 the place!
By the way, the winner Awesome Weather was rated 100 on the UNiTAB website and paid 13.80/4.00!!! (No, I didn't have it either.)

Good old Poachers Luck!!!

She was one of my best bets in Brisbane today. As well as backing her each way, I had the Quinella and Trifecta as well. I could have had the first 4 too if I had only bothered to put one on!!!

I didn't back She's All Gold each way unfortunately, but Poacher's Luck has been good to me...

I've backed it 4 times now, for 3 wins at $22, $3 and today at $6. The other time it ran 2nd.....

Is it just me, or do other people have certain horses that just seem to be money machines???????

The name Zazzman springs to mind. He was great to me during the Spring Carnival. I love backing horses which race consistently well like he did. I can never understand the people who back all those 'Gunna' horses. You know the ones that always seem to be 'unlucky' every single start. As far as I'm concerned, consistent horses tend to keep on being consistent and unlucky horses tend to keep on being unlucky!!!

Sportznut. Yes I agree, in fact I Picked Poachers Luck this morning as the best bet of the day. But in a general sense I like to look at horses that have won 2 in a row, and follow them for a few starts , NOT scientific, but sure comes up with a lot of value winners.
