Has anyone used the Formviewer software. It uses cyberhorse form and it's a tool for historical race form. I'm interested in the filter criteria part of it.(how does it work)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Nanook: An excellent program, probably the best available for the purist in form study. However, it does not create ratings etc, but has the benefit of being very flexible when tracing the past performances making 'form' races easily identifible.

The filtering system is only basic at this stage, although the developer Peter Faulks will be releasing a new version in the near future which may extend these options. For systems etc Pricepro is a better product, but there is a big difference in price and at $165 Formviewer is a very good buy.

I should add that I have no connection with the developer other than for being a user of the program and am merely responding to your request for some info.

Thanks for your reply and I'll consider buying it,$165 is reasonable in my book.

Yes, I use it just about daily. (I wrote it)

The Filter criteria is just a basic way of displaying only those starters (in today's race) that match the selected filter conditions in their previous start.

It was added by request of a user. If you want something more comprehensive, I am open to suggestions. I may not be able to get onto it straight away, however.
