If "you've got nothing else to do" you could have a look at those 100 pointers where the next best selection is 97 points and less - just as I am testing with Unitab. I thought of doing this with the other TAB's but my computer is not the fastest and would take me ages especially with the NSW TAB.

mickeyg, i only bet on saturdays, normally, so i could do them for you as it would only take 5 minutes.

Went through the results and even though there was a lot of different selections they seem to even out yesterday.

it seems following 100 raters for the place is not very profitable , or it might have been an off day ?.

Maybe you should just look at those where all three TABs have them as 100 raters (eg. MR1-7, MR7-2, etc). 7 starters for 6 placings and a small place profit - although maybe not - one more miss and it would have been a loss.

it cant win. U dont think the tabs would give you anything that would let you beat them then the tabs wouldnt make any money if punters backed there hundred rated selections and won . You get nothing for nothin

While not perfect (no ratings are), you certainly can win with them. I think the Unitab ratings are pretty good. And the TABs don't care which horse you bet on. They still pay out only 85% of what they receive, so it doesn't matter if they give out winning tips. In fact, if their ratings work well, they probably get more business which would be good for them.
