Before the races they interviewed the curator & congratulated him on the look of the track. After the last they made a point of how well the track held up.

If it was so good, why were the winners coming down the outside fence? Ken Callander must have won, because even he said how fair the track was, and usually he lets fly when the track is no good or has a bias. An embarrassment on a big day.
