Doesn't it always happen? Visitors [ones you don't want to see anyway] have to turn up at the most INopportune times as against the other way around. I only back top 3 rated longshots particularly 1st up, 1400 + & in small fields. Alexander's Magic, top rated overall,clear top for 'dist.'as well as 'track/dist'. Oh & 96 1st up rating to boot. Had to tell someone but I'm still not feeling better!! Might once this goes thru'.They're the ones you wait weeks for - ************ him. Going to get the Winning Post & some bourbon!!!!!

But it does sometimes work the other way. About a week ago I put $150 or so on a nag for the place. Can't remember the details, except that it was TAB 2. Got beat into 4th place, I think; but then I discovered I had hit 3 instead of 2 --- and the 3 paid $3.70 for the place :grin:
