Gilgandra

I suppose Gilgandra is somewhere,or perhaps it's like Brigadoon and only appears for one day every one hundred years.

Gilgandra is a smallish country town of 3000 people on the Castlereagh River in NSW's central west. It is situated at the junction of the Newell, Oxley and Castlereagh Highways, between Dubbo and Coonabarabran, 476 km north-west of Sydney and 280 m above sea-level

i notice that zedivain is running at gilgandra today.

also concitaire is in the inverell cup.

i believe they use australian currency at both these venues so the money won is the same as that won at randwick. so lets give them a well done for both towns for putting the races on.
