if windies got 400 would it be enough ??
maybe worst attack from established country we have ever seen

Yeah, that was why I didn't back them today. Well done to you on eventually making a profit at least.
|
got out of jail. you would think pakis with their tempremental play would struggle to get 270 so easy though.
lesson to be learned is that bowlers win cricket matches |
Well, the Pakis got out to $2.60 at least. Maybe even higher. Would have been a good bet then. I like your thinking though.
Here's a tip. When Australia's playing a test, don't back them before the game. Wait till they get into trouble, because they invariably do. There's hardly a test match played where Australia dominates right from the start and if they do, you just stay out for that game. |
spot on. in boxing day test, on day one i got on aussies at 2.15 when pakis where around 2/200. the aussies are just so good, they wear sides down in tests. There is no doubt that aussies are so methodical that streaky, flashy players can maybe do well for a short period eg afridi on weekend but australia just follow a plan and grind away. so in a test by day 3 they are on top.
on that theory, the south africa england test series shows different philosophies of those cricketing nations. have a good go on draw at start (2.30 ish ) and sit back and wait. slow over rates and bad weather often mean that draw is in to 1.60/1.75 by day 4 and hopefully one team in position to win. I bet with cricketbet, and they will often offer odds on draw or not a draw so laying off is possible. you dont get rich but i think a profit of $200-300 a test is pretty realistic and handy, especially in these days of back to back tests. |
Hey guys, what is the start date for the 5th and final RSA Vs Eng test match.
|
gday JD
test starts on friday night, load up on draw, england will try to draw i think due to injuries, and SA appear in disarray |
Here's the W.Indies big chance against Australia. Australia has only won one out of eight against the Windies in Brisbane. Admittedly most of those 7 losses were when the West Indies were at their peak, but even so, Australia do not have a good record at this ground. In day-night games at the Gabba, Australia's only won 3 of 9. They used to always play the opening game of the one-day series in Brisbane and when they did, Australia had an appalling record in them.

I am absolutely baffled by this Duckworth Lewis system. The Aussies have gone from chasing 263 off 50 to chasing 198 off 28. If someone could explain that to me it would be much appreciated!!
|
its confusing, all to do with wickets in hand and runs required. but if aus had lost no wickets when they went off they would be chasing less runs.
symonds looks out of sorts, should send him up to open with gilchrist and tell him to bash n crash. feeling a bit nervous, i had a multi safin-australia-draw ( saf & eng ) and aus look under pump.i think they need 20 overs for a game, so might not get that many judging by rain on tv, i hope |
