Welcome to our AFL forum

Hi all and welcome to our AFL football forum. Good to see I am not even the first to post!

There are a lot of AFL forums around already, but we wanted to start our own because many of them degenerate into slanging and abuse, whilst our strict behavioural rules will prevent that from happening.

Any AFL topics are welcome here, but as a predominantly sports betting and racing business we are hoping that the main emphasis will be on football betting tips and strategies to help each other win at AFL betting. We will of course also be promoting our AFL betting package, run by Professor Stephen Clarke! (For info visit www.smartgambler.com.au )

Australian Rules football is an excellent game to bet on, with a less mature market than bigger international sports like soccer and NFL which get picked over by a lot of professionals. It attracts a lot of 'emotional' money and has a wide range of different bet types, including futures bets, that can be profitably exploited. I have personally made my biggest sports betting profits from AFL and look forward to each season with great enthusiasm!

Well done.

Is this just a one off or is there any chance of a League or Union forum too. Or perhaps a combination of both on the one forum? How about Cricket & Soccer? :D

Is this a one off?

Hi Sportz.

Thanks for your regular support of our forums.

There is definitely a chance we might set up NRL, Rugby Union and Soccer public forums at some point, as the idea of this one was partly to promote our Smartgambler betting packages to a wider audience.

The reason why we started with AFL was because it has such a wide national audience now and seems to be bigger in terms of betting action and public interest than any other Australian sport at the moment.

Cricket is very big of course, but we haven't yet found a handicapper who can a prove an edge who wants to work for us, so we don't have a cricket betting package yet.

Look, basically we want to take over the planet... so more forums will no doubt appear in due course. (LOL) Give us time though, we want to do it right rather than rush in and then not have the resources to maintain and improve what we build.
