After whats been happening lately with infected emails.
The AVG program is very good, along with free updates.Protests from emails & Zip files 24 hrs a day. http://www.thefreesite.com/Free_Sof...virus_freeware/ Check it out. |
Take care guys. AVG is not compatible with Windows xp yet. It'll take you down!
I see that Norton Anti-Virus is now compatible, make sure you check whichever way you go. Back to the nags now. _________________ Pick it to win, back it to place. [ This Message was edited by: Placegetter on 2002-05-08 20:36 ] |
Dear Placegetter;
Thanks for that tip, is there another free anti-virus site you could suggest that is compatable with Windows XP. |
You get what you pay for with free stuff Bhagwan.
The one I mentioned is only $100 or so. If just one of your systems is working, I'm sure you would have it covered. Good luck this weekend. |
One that I use is
http://www.free-av.com I think it has an xp version out as well. Otherwise check out the reviews and links on http://www.wilders.org |
Thanks for that info Mr. Fryingpan

If you use hotmail they scan for viruses before you get them....you could also check this site out it is an online virus checker HOUSECALL ANTI-VIRUS: http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
it will also check for trojans they can be more harful than a virus because you never know when you have one untill the day you can't log onto anything cause someone has changed your passwords. |
Thanks for that info Shaun .
