Is anyone else having a go at one of these competitions? i'm competing in the www.sportal.com.au, comp, or for a direct link: http://super12.sportal.virtualsports.com.au/

Basically it requires you to pick a team and seven reserves with a salary cap of 6 mil. Some of the big players can cost up to 1.5 mil, whereas the not so good ones cost as little as 80k. Quite a bit of fun! You get points for tries, goals, and if your team wins. You also select a captian who recievs double points

I can stop anyone. Last week I chose Mat Rogers as my kicker. He got 1 from 7. This week I chose Mcallister and he got 3 from 8!!!

i had merthens and he didn't even kick! i've got a fwe good ones though, had andre pretorious and breydon paulse lastg week, and have got tonderai chavanga as my captain for this week so it would be good if he got a few!

BTW i've got Werner Greef as my breakaway and Tana Umaga as my half-back. I think they stuffed up a few positions - but this still lets you get a few extra backs. I tried to get the cheapest playing forwards and just spend money on the backs

Yeah, but it's good to have forwards who can score a try or two. I have Mealamu in my team. He's usually good for a few tries during the comp.

Yes, you're right about them stuffing up a couple of positions. I also have Umaga but he won't score any points this week because he's playing in the Tsunami match.

yeah, i put him on the bench this week. About forwards scoring tires, i've got Jacques Cronje who has scored 2 in 2 weeks!

i also think it is annoying that we can't see the teams of the leaders (or haven't been able to as far as i know)

Mate I did exactly the same thing! I'm just glad I didn't go with Gerrard as my kicker because he didn't even end up playing.
