how quinella works??

if I tick 3 boxes, I learnt if any of those two win, then get quinella win,
what happens if only one of them got first, the other 2 didn't make into place ?

does it mean you still win ?

say I tick No3, No6 No7, then No6 wins? 3, 7 no places .....

(1) BRINKMANSHIP 3/1...2nd
(2) Chester The Great 4/1...Lost
(3) Mon Avide 5/1...WON $8.10 Quinella $7.80, Exacta $22.80

above an example , how do i put bet if there are 3 selected ?

(4) LITTLE LEGEND 7/2...Lost
(2) With Astaire 9/2....WON $9.10
(1) Jackson Hill 5/1...Lost

*************************

(8) SHE'S THE ONE 7/2 rated eq...2nd
(2) Thebarefootbushman 7/1...WON $4.50 Quinella $34.90, Exacta $71.90

Hi!
No in "this case" any two must finish first or second.
But meaning no disrespect I think you should stick with Tattslotto!?

To win a quinella, you must select the horses that finish 1st and 2nd. You don't have to pick which horse will win and which one will come 2nd, just as long as you have the first and 2nd horses in your bet. Let's say you box three horses in a quinella, numbers 1, 4 & 6. If the result of the race ends up being say 6, 1 & 10 you would win, but if it was 6, 10 & 1 you would lose.

The difference between a quinella and an exacta, is that with an exacta you must choose which horse you think will win, and which horse will come second. It's harder to win than a quinella but generally pays more as a result.

Does that help?
