Quick Return Stakes
Here is a system that I found on the Internet which I have adapted to Australian conditions.
Rule 1: Operate on non-handicap races except for maidens. Rule 2: Consider only the pre-post favourtite. Rule 3: The contender must have raced within the last ten days (inclusive). Rule 4: The race must have ten or less runners. SELECTIONS 12/2/2005 No qualifiers. 19/2/2005 Warwick Farm Race 6: Grand Armee FIRST $1.80/1.40 ($1.90 at 1/3 odds) Moonee Valley Race 3: Opportunity FIRST $1.60/$1.10 ($1.65 at 1/4 odds) 26/2/2005 No qualifiers. 3/5/2005 Caulfield Race 3: Ballet Society FIRST $3.10/$1.40 ($3.40 at 1/4 odds) RESULTS Selections: 3 Wins: 3 (100.00%) Places (including wins): 3 (100.00%) Win return: $6.50 (SuperTAB); $6.95 (SP) Place return: $3.90 (SuperTAB); $4.06 (SP) Number of runners: 26 (11.54%) Number of winners: 3 (100.00%) Relative frequency factor: 8.6667 Expected number of winners: 1.4550 Actual-to-expected ratio: 2.0619 |
