What the hell???

Just visited the Racing Services bureau site.
Acceptances are back in the old format.
Wonder what's going on?

Imagele,
I missed your original post - what was the problem with the new RISA site? I was able to "save the file as" onto my hard-drive(using IE6) and then read the saved file in Excel - the only difference I found was that the download was very slow.

The problem I had was that I could not highlight the text, copy and paste into word or excel.
On the RSB site I simply clicked, edit, select all, copy and then pasted it into word.
With opera or firefox browsers I could copy and paste into excel but it would not go into word as a table as before.

Zorro is right, or you can just view the source and save it.

Right click is disabled with a very easy javascript code, anyone can delete that code, but of course we have to remain within the copyright boundaries, so I'm not suggesting you do it, just telling you that it can be done.

Zorro
I could read the saved file as in emailing it to myself.
I need it in a form I can work with, not just read it.

Poor wording on my part - what I meant was that I could open the saved file in Excel and then copy and paste the data to another spreadsheet.

Hopefully everything will stay the way it is today and there will be no dramas for anyone.

Is it just me, or has RISA reverted to it's "no copy & paste" policy??

Fair dinkum, why make it so ************ difficult to get the friggin' acceptences!!

I suppose I better download a new browser.
