Last Start Winner Plan
Heres a plan that has been tested over 4.5 years.
Some people may say that systems cant win , I say they can if tested over a min of 4+ years using some logic as a basis. E.G. A recurring factor is that 20% of last start winners end up winning again. I laugh when people ask for a winning plan & when it`s presented to them , they usually say ,"I`m not going to do all that , can`t you do it for me, & while your at it ,lay the bets also". I say, then get a computer program , "I`m not going to folk out that sort of money". They want to make money but dont want to do anything towards it when presented. Right , we are back to square one then, & so it goes. I did this on my TRB-GTX program. 32% POT 23% SR 27 Longest Outs 1300 Bets 7 Days a week. The LS in 26 days rule & the No Mares or Horses & no Slow tracks , proved to be very significant rules. Also one will note that duell last wins were deleted , these managed a small profit , indicating that they are overbet & were not good value, their SR was 2 points less than the others. LAST START WINNER PLAN RACE RULES: include if Field Size between 5 and 15 exclude if Going = Slow HORSE RULES: include if TAB No. between 2 and 15 ( TAB No.1 showed a loss because of low divs. which means they are over bet to their true chance of winning) include if Age between 2 and 6 include if Sex = Filly, Colt, Gelding, Rig (leaving out Mares & Horses) HORSE RATING RULES: include if Morning Line between $2.9 and $15.0 include if Trakform Rank = 1 (This can be any other handicapping top selection, this is one of 4 that I have) include if Morning Line Rank between 2 and 7 HORSE STATISTICS RULES: include if Career Starts between 2 and 40 HORSE FORM RULES RUN #1:(Last Run) include if Days Ago between 1 and 26 HORSE FORM RULES RUN #2nd Last Run: include if FinPos between 2 and 12 Cheers. Surely you didn't get a huge number of qualifiers there??? Then again, people are always saying that racing is rigged. :) |
I know Im diversing on your thread Bhagwan, however What made you choose the GTX over the price predictor , Ive resigned myself to this fact that I must purchase one of the two. Punters Choice gives the GTX the thumbs up however as there other people who use it I would like to know what made you choose GTX.
Thanks Chris |
A variation on this one is to back the highest TAB no that is a last start winner. in other words working down from TAB no1, this produces 25% winners. Though could be worth a look at leaving out no 1, to see if it produces a profit.

Hi Sarge,
I chose GTX over Price Predictor because it is far more sophisticated in every way , it is also costs a lot more money, about 4 times more. E.G. These are just a small number of things it has that PP has not got. A morning line pre-post market.(very usefull) The ability to single out race numbers e.g. race No.1 only . The number of runs & fin positions of any track condition. Even how many 1sts or 2nds or 3rds.broken up accorgingly. Stewards reports. It has a number of hadicapping programs e.g. Trackform, Timeform, Combination of both, Consistancy ratings , ect. The ability to interegate the names of Jockeys & Trainers. The ability to define what is Country as to Provincial tracks. Automaticlly takes scratchings into acccount & adjusts all the ratings including the pre-post market prices accordingly. The form information is never compromised because it is not relying on a second outside source for the information. It`s much faster to create a system with it . I run approx 100 systems per day with it & all 100 are done at once within a few seconds. . All my systems a very selective with adout 3-5 bets a month , one would go crazy if one tried to do it manually. You dont have to run each sysem separetly to get your selections for the day as you do with PP. I will stop now , I feel thats enough for starters. PP is fine for those who cant afford the big difference, but I would feel very restricted after being spoilt by this Rolls Royce of form interogation & system developer. One can send off for a free demo disc , so one can compare the two. |
Thanks Bhagwan,
100 systems a day phew. I will send off for the demo disc whilst saving my coin. At the moment it appears only to be 300 odd more and I can afford that even if it means waiting (ive never driven a rolls before). I hope the ongoing subs could be paid from the benefits it produces. It does concern me at the limited number of selections, however your reputation precedes you - TRUST. Maybe it got misdirected however I sent an email to GTX a couple of weeks ago and have heard nothing since (which to me appears unususal giveen the testimonial page) - Ill try agin Thanks fo taking the time to explain. Im a wee bit excited. |
Just thought it was time to re-visit a few old favourites from the "Betting Systems Forum". It seems to be lacking inspiration at the moment!
Anyway, a Happy Christmas to all. |
Anyone that follows last start winners would have had a field day yesterday (Boxing Day) at Flemington.
Ignoring the 2YO race LSW won 5 out of 7 races. Bradw |
