here is a good quinella system
 

this works on gallops only,
the races you choose must have a fav paying $3.00 or better,
you bet on horses drawn barriers 1-7 on fields with 9-11 starters,
A field of 12 bet on horses drawn 1-8,
all bets half a unit.

Yesterday's R1 at Mt Gambier provided a $130 quinella.

I've got about a year of Saturday form guides, and checking your system with about six Saturdays, Metrop meetings only, it did not perform well. That's not to say that it won't work on country meetings where the tracks are usually tighter and would favor the inside barriers.

One thing that stood out - omitting the pre-post fave resulted in a much smaller loss.
