There were three two year old trials at Lark Hill yesterday.

Heat one went to the Terry Tapper trained Kanojo. The Chanteclair filly is out of the Salmon Leap mare Spawn To Win who is a half sister to the classy WA stayer Rocky Murano. Runner up was Miss Memphis with The Black Flash third and margins were a head by 3 1/2 lengths. Time for the 400m was 24.5 seconds.

The second heat went to the John Price trained Tears Of Surprise. Another filly she is by Red Eye Special out of Surpriser, the former Price trained mare that won eight races and over $92,000 in stakes. Margin was a neck over Dalian with a 1/2 length back to Laetare third. Time was 55.5 seconds for the 900m.

The final heat was won by Big Kev. The Keltrice colt is trained by Ted Martinovich and is out of Emerald Set. A winner of seven races and a producer of two winners already at stud, Emerald Set is a sister to two stakes winners and a half sister to Group 1 Fruit N Veg Stakes winner Blevvo. Margins 1 3/4 lengths over Corporate Flyer with another 1/2 length to Star Card. Time was 55 seconds.
