There were two juvenile trials held at Lark Hill yesterday on a good track.
In heat one the winner was Magic Aces. The gelding won the Crystal Slipper Stakes at Ascot in December and won the 900m trial by a head over Changing Lanes. A margin of five lengths when separated them from the third horse Bonny Pastime. Watch for Changing Lanes in the future. It was the first trial appearance for the unraced Racer's Edge gelding. Time was 55 seconds.
The other trial went to All Keyed Up. The name is appropriate he is by Key Business out of Key Appeal. A four time city winner Key Appeal is closely related to the Melbourne Listed winner Obadele. Runner up 1 1/2 lengths behind was Tribal Ghost with a 1/2 head to Plainlessly. Time was 55.75 seconds.
Info from the WATURF Club.
