Thanks Sportz for updating Glamour Puss for me. Much Appreciated. Your right Panther has a great stable. Plus he still has a decent bank!
Thanks Chuck. I made the maximum 5 changes to my stable, and they all were to the 3yo category. It was a bit of a gamble to blow my bank on some quality horses, so hopefully they'll return some big wins. I probably should have gotten rid of Stratum, given it's poor form of late, and that it's connections are saying if it doesn't perform in the Newmarket it'll be put to stud (currently around a $41 chance!). And I think Lad of the Manor only has the Australian Cup left, before venturing overseas, so I don't think it's future races will count in this comp. I would have liked to have traded Casual Pass too, given it's injury, but I don't think it is definitely out for Autumn yet (fingers crossed). I would have also liked to have done something with my 2yo's, as I'm not convinced they'll win anything more this Autumn. I was torn on whether or not to get rid of Aqua D'amore because of it's recent poor form, but they have the horse nominated in so many races, and it's tough to think she won't return to her previous excellent form when she goes back up in distance for the Futurity and Australian Cup. Darci Brahma was a bit of a risk given that so many good NZ horses fail when they race in Australia, but I think it has a chance of beating God's Own in Cadbury Guineas (maybe I can get an exacta with these two, like Sportz with Nadeem and Miss Finland in the Blue Diamond).
Chuck, you should be pretty happy with the likes of Mnemosyne, Lad of the Manor, Glamour Puss, Lotteria, I Got Chills and Bentley Biscuit in your stable. I'm not sure if there in any races this month, but you would I Got Chills could take out the Golden Slipper in April, and Bentley Biscuit is still unbeaten. Good luck!
