Hi,
The first rule is never let anyone else bet with your own money.
I know an example of a confidence trickster who pretended to be friends with someone. This con artist claimed to win at the trots.
Eventually his friend deposited over $10,000 into a TAB account in a profit sharing partnership agreement. The con artist "bet" with it and even convinced his "friend" there was no need to keep a check of the account.
One day he decided to check the account, after not being given specific details of bets for a while, but rather evasive comments like "Still the same. Nothing ventured. Nothing gained."
The balance was 5 cents!!! For some weeks after that the con artist still pretended that all was well and that they were going to make a fortune that year.
I am staggered that people come on this forum seriously considering getting involved with betting packages that cost many thousands of dollars when we have our own betting packages here that are a fraction of the cost - racing packages and sports betting packages.
We even have e mail user groups for our sports betting packages like our successful and popular AFL footy and tennis betting packages.
There are also postings by users in the Smartgambler forum attesting to the success of these sports betting packages - packages that cost less than $1,000, not $6,000.
