For the doncaster (will miss it for the first time in years next month ), i am still very keen on the big Bentley Biscuit. It was a very gutsy last run, and drops 5 kgs on that providing it qualifies (barring penalties). Paratroopers was just awesome last start - back to its very best, and Mnemosyne's last run was electric. I have never been a desert war fan, and i don't think patezza can make it 2 in a row. I have liked Johan's Toy for a while - had some e/w on it last year, but i don't think it has the class of some of these. Lotteria is yet to show her best this prep, but is still a definite chance after what we saw in the cox and myer last year. Apache Cat is still being overlooked despite doing everything possible in last few runs. Apart from that I can't see anything else challenging until closer form study

For the slipper, I think that if I Got Chills runs well, it wins. It is easily the most impressive 2yo that i have seen out of all this bunch and if it takes to the course it should nail them. Diego seems quite an on and off horse, one might even go as bold to say it was a wet tracker, and i am still not sure about it. Tuesday Joy's formlines seem one of the best in the race, and i have backed it at $13.00. Miss Finland won't win, wasn't good enough last start. I've also had a bit on Turfiste, the Waterhouse runner that has only raced once. I've heard big things, and will be interesting to see how it leads up. Casino Prince and Universal Queen were impressive last start, however i am not that keen on their value. For a big roughie, maybe a bit on Pulsator at the current 200-1 in the hope of a late entrance?
