this week i was having a joke with nevets about kennedy being beaten 20 lengths and then starting odds on and finishing last.

i cannot suggest the margin beaten to fully discount a horse's chances but i recall slygo connection winning in adelaide a few years ago after being beaten 65 lengths.
actually he dead heated and paid squillions.

i have said before i wouldnt know a good thing if i fell over it and there are a lot of reasons why.
