Fastest trial winner was Third Option. The Flying Spur gelding who is yet to race in WA won his maiden at Kembla Grange in late 2004 and raced with moderate success (without winning) in Victoria mid 2005.

Most impressive trial winner was Electic who defeated a smart field under a strong hold. Electic has an impressive record of 15 starts for seven wins, two seconds and a third with prizemoney exceeding $150,000. Electic best win to-date was the RS Crawford Stakes at Ascot last November, when he defeated O'Flirty, Miss Andretti and Arctic Park.
