she was a great mare no doubt. But the fact is she came to prominence when the very best retired. Also Elvestroem had a very good record against her and while he was a great horse he was no hall of famer. She wil be a hall of famer due to the weight of her achievements but just on pure ability I dont think she was up there with turf greats like Sunline and Northerly. |
