The Moonee Valley Hurdle is clearly the 'feature race' of the day. Why are we avoiding hurdle races?

Yeah, I thought there might be a complaint or two.
It was tough this week, crash! The Hiskens Steeplechase is definitely the biggest race, but I know that many people simply don't like betting or tipping in jumping races. And as for the flat races, there was the listed Dermody Stks in Adelaide, but it looked a bit lacking in depth, and in any case, I really wanted to stick to just Melbourne and Sydney only for the race of the week. Sydney is a very heavy track at the moment, so I went looking for a flat race in Melbourne, and I thought the overall class of the field in Race 8 was the best.
As a general rule, I look at the races that TAB Sportsbet is operating on, because they ONLY operate on feature races or the best quality non-feature races. This Saturday, they're betting on just 2 races, the Dermody Stks and the Austereo Hcp. So there you go.
