Does anyone have any complaints about me making a change to the scoring system at this stage? It won't have any effect on previous weeks' tips.

Great idea Sportz.
IMHO, a $3.70p placegetter should be worth 37 points and $1.50w winner should be worth 15 points. It rewards risk accordingly. A certain amount of points for winning a round added as a small bonus would be all that's needed and would scuttle any possible scoring bias. It also reflects the real world of punting [not football].
Cheers to all the winners this week [short priced FAV, HUGGERS] :-),
