Thanks for the thought SeeDee, but after minor disaster a couple of Saturdays ago when I sat dividend watching all day and still made a significant loss, I''ve decided on another approach.
The judicious application of the right combination of filters has pumped my strike rates up significantly and I'm back to paper trialing live selections for a while to make sure my backfitted filters hold true long term. That'd been going swimmingly too for 11 days (only 2 of those were small losses) until yesterday.

I thought Saturdays were supposed to be good days for the punt.
