They looked to be value. The #7 hound was around $4.00 and the #4 hound was around $15.00 at the jump.

The lure rolls, the bunny is up to the boxes, lids flyyyyyy!

The #4 goes to the lead at 14/1 - nice.
The #7 is running third - close enough if the #4 tires to cover me.

The odds on favourite runs wide and gets carted off the track by the #7 - beautiful!

The favourite is no chance now, the #4 has extended his lead to be about three lengths clear in the back straight and the #7 is starting to chase, with the second greyhound just holding position without looking any real threat.

At the turn, the #4 is still clear by about 2 lengths, the #7 is chasing hard and rounding up the #4 (Oh well, it was good while it lasted and I'll win something anyway).

In the straight, the #7 is about to easily overtake the #4 and kick away, when the #4 is not having a bar of it, turns his head and bites the #7 square on the snout, straightens back up and wins.

Lucky greyhound - lucky me
Hey Chrome

I saw that race.......... and I also saw r 1 at Albion Park, where the 1 Special Phantom ($8.2) was leading and the fav was closing (Angel Flight $1.5)

Of course I was on Special Phantom (Friend has an interest in it) and wouldn't you know it the lure breaks down 50m from the line.... where it is quickly beset upon by 4-5 ravenous dogs......... I was in the queue for a collect..... sheesh !
