The West Australian visitor, Marasco, trained by racing legend Fred Kersley had his first serious look around the Caulfield course proper working over 1000m in evens and covering his final 400m in 25 seconds which had Kersley’s travelling foreman Paul Dyson happy with the gallop.
“The times were nothing out of the box, but the work was excellent,” Dyson said.
