True, but it's been an observation of mine for quite some time that when there is support for another runner besides the red hot one, they run dismally and there are a lot of short priced horses, not on form or class, but simply there's nothing else (obvious).
Last night there was a horse first time over jumps (although he had been schooled previously), never been at the track, never even placed in slow/heavy going, had a let up for a few weeks and was facing a big weight and extra distance / different race type.
How this horse was any better than evens at very very best is unbelievable.
But they just kept taking my prices right down to $1.48.
Money for jam!
