What a joke the Oaks was. No pace at all and the 3 favoured horses all stayed at the tail of the field just letting the leader get away with murder.
one thing ive noticed in general about racing down under. they like to amble along sometimes in the longer distances.

thats why in 7 furlong races i take the front runners and the speed horses and throw them on top of the exotics. in the 7 furlong races if they amble up front its over the speed stays.

its a weird phenomena going 7 furlongs. about 75% of the time its won by being up early. well in the states i know thats a fact.

take a little study of 7 furlong races and you will see what im talking about.
