Bit softer underfoot than the other tracks(without any rain).
Suits some horses and not others.

didnt know that. it could be a factor. but if you watch horses that come off the pace at moonee valley going the shorter distances that turn is not kind at all.most go wide and have no time to recover because of the shorter distance to the wire. they will tend to end up about mid pack or behind the winners. i just transfer that to other tracks. there are some tracks that it does not work at all (balarat)and some tracks where it works super(caulfield).

and of course there are more factors that go in to finalizing a pick.
