It's interesting that the small Place divvies ($1.20 and under) were higher on Betfair, except only with one selection.
It might be worthwhile to keep in mind that sometimes when the TAB pays a Place divvy on first and second only, that Betfair can pay on the first three - it depends on the amount of horses originally entered for a particular race. In such an instance it would be highly unlikely Betfair divvies would be higher than the TAB. Out of interest, I remember an occasion when 8 or more horses had been entered in a race and because of mass scratchings there were only 4 runners that actually started - Betfair paid out on the first three placegetters.
