Well it turns out Eagle Farm doesn't use a penetrometer for it's track ratings [Doomben does].
The official rating is 'good' [rail out] but as it's pretty much the same track sub-soil and make up as Doomben. I'd be closely watching the race times of the first couple of races [most of the race times at Doomben last week were 'fast']. If they are within 2 sec. of the track record for the class and distance I'd suspect a 'fast' track, not 'good'.
