Phil Purser's take on horses after having vaccinations when arriving OS [compulsory]:
"It obviously didn’t affect Miss Andretti or Takeover Target in their recent trip to England, but Scotland Yard are still searching for Bentley Biscuit and Magnus.
Now they can use any excuse they like, but Bentley Biscuit and Magnus were not 20 lengths inferior to the other two when they got on the plane and left Australia, so what happened? They said Bentley Biscuit “jarred up,” but the inoculation may have flattened the horse. Then Pompeii Ruler had form before he went to Dubai, but he wouldn’t have beaten one of the Sheik’s prize camels over there. What an embarrassment that was. Look how a genuine “champion” mare like Makybe Diva went to Japan and nearly held up the next. Why?"
