calling lonhro a champion is like saying collingwood is a champion football team. they have lost two grand finals and so has he. The doncaster and the cox plate were his grand finals and he lost. but saying that he has an unbelievable sprint and a brilliant win strike rate. BUt as crash says he cannot sustain a long run and will be found out in the cox plate like he was last year.


also why the hell do these jockeys keep running slow slow slow races in sydney. the only way to beat lonhro over 1400 - 1600 metres is to make it a hard run race. Olivers ride on defier was woeful and why didnt someone take off at the 800metre mark and try to give them the slip. leave them all hanging off the bit. Jim Cassidy has taken off too early so many times in his career and killed the chances of many good horses but now it seems he has way too much patience. I dont know how this bloke keeps getting good rides particularly when munce seems to be losing a couple.
