G'day Wesmip1,
I just checked and I didn't receive any email from IASbet. My internet service isn't with Telstra and I didn't have any problems today with any other websites, just IASbet's. It's IASbet that have Telstra as their provider. It sounds like their trying to cover their a#$%&s by saying it's Telstra fault not theirs.
The recurring problem is due to high traffic the IASbet website gets on main event Saturdays, and their current ISP package with Telstra's isn't able to cope with the traffic, so it bottlenecks, stalls and generates errors. I'm guessing IASbet really need to upgrade their server and internet service package. I'm astonished really that a bookie that operates primarily via the internet is neglecting to fix a recurring problem that grossly restricts his client's ability to place their bets on major racing days. Simply ludicrous. If you decide to stick with IASbet, I'd recommend on big event racing days that you place your bets early to avoid these issues, or maybe call in your bets. Good luck.
