magoo has some very valid points about the actual administration and lack of organisation of Melbourne clubs especially around Spring Carnival time.
I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to raceday edicate and attire.

As for the races themselves, to even entertain moving a race like the Cox Plate, or Caulfield Cup is blasphemy - dream on :razz:
