With that in mind if you can review the film of the race have a look at 'Forensics', it missed the jump, Niko. gave it a couple of mins. to get right
and then began to pick up, but chose to stay on the rail, and ran into a brick wall just when she was doing two to their one - Before the race they were going to retire her - I hope they give her one or more chances in Group races.
Many days before the Slipper Niko. did the exact same thing with 'Portillo'
ran into a rail brick wall, and 'Portillo' was trying to climb over those in front,
I took a bagful of the $9.00+ odds at it's NEXT start when it did not get stuck on the rail - I thought they would give the Slipper a miss after it's 1200 win because that horse needs more ground than 1200 - and it's worth remembering that - even though he ran third in the Slipper.
