Hi Crackone,
I gave the above rule careful consideration. 'Lowest score' would be zero and if it wasn't, those who scored zero would complain.
The rule is there for the odd occasions when punters are away or for many possible reasons miss the 1/2 hour deadline and not be punished for it. There would no advantage in deliberately using this rule. Anyone can pick the most likely favorites [and many deliberately will] if they want to rely on favorites. The only penalty is the loss of a special and favorites don't pay well. Anyone doing it twice in a row will score nothing 2nd. time. No real advantage in using the rule deliberately.
I'll leave the rule in but thanks for your thoughts.
