I can concur with that sentiment. It tends to take the feeling out of having used your brain matter to find a solution to the equation that is a horse race
BUT if you have found a method/system that produces a profit mechanically you go with it.
For some the juice is in the problem solving BUT can you solve enough problems to make a profit.
