See you're from WA, Shaun.
If so this might help (from WA Tab)
" If any of the runners in your bet have been scratched, your scratched runner(s) will be replaced by the substitute runner (SB). The substitute declared in each leg of the double is the runner, in that leg, with the greatest value of win bets invested on it. This is why there are no refunds on scratchings with Doubles. The substitute is announced by the TAB just after the start of each leg. You may even select the substitute (SB) in one or both legs of your Double bet. " |
