Hi Crash,

yes, there are a few systems there, and it takes a while to go through them all and place my bets on a Saturday morning in particular. When I used to bet on STAB I had my software create a betsheet, but can't do that with IAS so it's a slow, manual process.

I'd love to be able to "do the form" as you. My neighbor has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of racing and horses, and would be a great punter if he only had discipline... I am in awe of his ability... but he's been punting for 20 years, and me less than one. I suspect I'll get there one day, for I agree that sitting in the garden in the early morning "doing the form" sounds a very nice way to make a living.

Hi Kenchar,

the ratings that I alluded to earlier are the Price Predictor ratings. Like most ratings, they won't win if you pick every horse in every race, but a few simple (and logical) filters and you have the basis of a very good system. I could be wrong, but I don't consider ratings based systems as "mechanical" systems, hence my specifying the difference earlier.

The Price Predictor ratings are superb, and they regularly pick good priced winners.

Cheers,
Chris.
