Rodd was on Royal Ida when he screwed both Royal Ida and the favorite Silky Smooth (which I had in a rd) in the Chester Manifold back in Feb. I looked at the replay and asked myself why would someone race a horse up the front so hard so far from the finish post for so long. I thought "Good one Rodd. If they had the finish post 10 metres after the bend, you would have been a chance." It made sure the front running favorite didn't win, as well as Royal Ida.

I've gone off Rodd. He was up in Sydney last Saturday failing on Whobegotyou, I think.
