I did actually think about going down the "quality" side of the argument, but I practically never look at the midweek races, so I really wouldn't know. If you can find a selection that you are 98% confident of paying, who cares whether it's Saturday at Flemington or Tuesday at Northam (wherever that is).

Regarding you sitting on the beach making your selections, forget it. I have found cellular technology to be too expensive with my laptop, so I just use my office PC and then hit the beach once I'm done.
