Default IRON HORSE - YIELD CURVE

WOW!! Check out the preparation of Yield Curve coming into this race.

37 starts since March '09, with the longest break in that time of 35 days!!

Trainer Kath Carroll must have some patience, Yield Curve finally got up at start no. 25 this prep. He won his last race by 3 lengths, at start no. 37.

Quite simply an IRON HORSE.

I feel he'll lack a bit in the class stakes but at least you know he'll be fit!! ha ha

Meanwhile......

I quite fancy a boilover here.

The only horses that have won at 2400 and beyond are:

3, 5, 6, 7 with no. 3 Tinseltown being the shortest at $6 UNITAB fixed odds.

The fav Ironstein is by Zabeel so plenty of punters will use that factor to get on. Ironstein's Dam Gentle Genius was miler, albeit a classy one, so I'd like to see him run it out before I put down my hard earned. I'm not saying he won't win, I'm just not keen to guess when he's paying $5.

Court Ruler beat Shocking last year in the QLD Derby. Larry Cassidy is on, he rode him to victory that day against Shocking. Will most likely get back.

Solid Billing won the G3 Summer Cup in December with the Pumper onboard on a Dead track. Has to start out in the carpark in barrier 18, but if he can get forward early this may just increase his odds. Wilkinson's navigating so we'll see what happens. Solid Billing has been disappointing in his last two starts but form previously in NZ was good so may pay to forgive.

Tinseltown has been consistent all prep and you know he'll run the distance. Oliver onboard makes me feel he'll be a good banker for the tri.

Throw in the old boy Lang, Sand Hawk and Prix Du Sang for the multiples.

Have a beautiful days punting.
