well an ok night at canberra on the tri despite only tipping 3 very short winners. heading to bathurst today

Race 1

weak race to open the cards so im looking towards a couple of rougher value hopes. Irinka Asotasi (5) is yet to win this T/D in 8 starts but has run 5 placings. Can begin well and should be double figure odds. Deposit Cargo (4) will be another at likely double figure odds but comes off a couple of nice seconds at Cowra and Dubbo recently. Odnoc Annie (3) has form around Wenty and Nowra as well as a fast win at Forbes. having first start here but can begin quick. Dark Madness (2) was handy early last start at Richmond before being checked out of the race. Prior to that was impressive winning at Lithgow.

Race 2

a terrible race here so be very wary if having a punt. Only George (1) is a last start winner in decent time at Young from an inside draw. the rails draw here should see it competitive and likely start the tote favourite. No Way Ang (3) has won over the shorter trip at Bathurst and steps up to the 520m here, should give a good show. Ashley's Queen (4) has run a couple of nice races at Bathurst last two starts and track experience could prove vital. Pretty Prancer (7) returns to racing here after about 6 weeks off. watch market moves for it.

Race 3

Walkaway Freddy (3) a special in this. has speed, class and everything else on this field. sprint specialist and will be looking for his first bathurst win. Mister Riddle (6) is back from a 4 month spell and resumes over the unsuitable 307m trip. will improve on whatever he does today so maybe just watch for him after this run. Hypo Lady (4) has a decent T/D record here with 19:3-8-2 and needs to negotiate the squeeze box here but could be a threat. Bondy Burns (2) is yet to win this T/D with just a second from 4 starts but has shown great pace at other tracks. Big Danger.

Race 4

Maiden race here with Hannah Keeping (2) coming off a nice effort at Dubbo. looks a race it can finally lose its maiden status. Flint Sky (7) lines up here at its second start. ran a nice third at Lithgow from the same box and win wouldn't surprise. Rumjungle (5) has form from Richmond which is handy and looks like its first run at Bathurst last week will benefit it greatly today. Myalla Fake (8) career stats 13:0-4-4. chuck in for the multiples.
