Dr Ron. You are from Vic. So am I. But I gather you use the QTAB ratings rather than those on-line at the Vic TAB now. So do I. Is it because you really find them more accurate and useful?
Readers of this forum will know that most of my systems (or attempts) employ the QTAB ratings. I lose faith in them now and then but in the end I find they save me lots of work and are very useful.
Does anyone have any comparative figures on the success of the QTAB ratings compared to other ratings systems around, like Mark Reads, the ones on Vic TAB, etc. I compare them sometimes. Often major differences - and I usually stick with the QTAB.
You mention Don Scott. Somewhere (this forum?) I heard that the QTAB ratings (AAP) employ Don's Scott's ratings methods. Is that true?
Thanks for those conversion tables. With a bit of fiddling it works fine.
