Your missing the point Moeee. Unless someone has a gambling issue and loses money they can't afford to lose most of us treat punting as entertainment and fun. We choose to bet on the races and with any other associated expenses like form guides or going to the track, having a meal there etc for entertainment. It's fun if we can win. But it's fun anyway - win or lose. We use money we've put aside for entertainment.
So my betting system idea is precsely that - Punting For Fun.
By the way, here's a little quick pick system I love. In a handicap back the top weight if it is a last start winner in its current campaign and you can get good odds about it. Makes sense too. We've got a horse in form which the handicapper reckons is the best horse in the field, that's why its been given the top weight. Scouse at Morphettville won on Saturday - $22.70.
