Interesting stats, Wesmip - cheers!
Loss on Turnover on a break of 90-100 days narrows down to about 7%. I guess this is about the time a horse would be returning from a spell if it was just turned out because it had been up a while, not because it was injured or had other problems. Good sound horses can be expected to go well, even first up. If you cut out stayers, and bet with an operator who doesn't take out 14% as the TABs do, there might be an edge here.
